This morning, Central Point’s Dennis Richardson announced his candidacy for Oregon Governor.
Dennis Richardson is a Republican politician who is serving his third term in the Oregon House of Representatives and has served in the Oregon Legislature for more than a decade. He opened his own law practice in Central Point. He tells us he retired from it in 2010 to focus on government.
It’s not clear yet if Democratic Governor John Kitzhaber will run for a fourth term. A third person, also Republican, John Justesen announced an exploratory campaign. It’s been 31 years since a Republican was elected governor in Oregon.
