Bullying In Schools

According to the U.S. Department of Education Office of Safe & Drug-Free Schools, bullying can result in long-term social, academic, psychological and physical consequences, including decreased interest in school, increased absences and decreased concentration levels for students.

Every day thousands of American kids stay home from school because they feel afraid to walk the halls or sit in classrooms feeling threatened by their environment. NBC5’s Dan Joseph files this report.
