Curry county is in dire straights, facing the possibility of losing almost all of their county services, police, and jail.
Curry county Commissioners will meet Thursday to discuss a solution to the county’s fiscal problems.
They are considering a 5-year temporary property tax increase.
Without voters approval in may, the county is set to close it’s jail, cut nearly all county services, and lose officers.
The meeting starts at 1:30 P.M. in the county Annex Building in Gold Beach.
