Ashland residents were out training today. Preparing for emergency situations.
About 14 people participated in the cert basic training exercises.
Officials of the program tell us these exercises are necessary because they help save lives.
“the volunteers actually aid the fire department in large scale emergencies and large scale disasters so training like this not only saves yourself, your family members, your neighborhood, but also your community” Said Terri Eubanks a CERT program coordinator.
