Environmental Activists Rally in Rogue Valley

Today nearly 200 people took the streets of Medford to voice their concerns on climate change. Today’s event coincides with a movement in nations capital to take action in maintaining a stable environment. It’s something that organizers say is essential no matter where you live.

“Climate change is also a moral issue, it’s an economic issue that will impact all of us at home. So it’s here we really need to get across political boundaries, across political ideas and start moving forward together,” said Hannah Sohl.

Representative Peter Buckley was also in attendance trying to spread awareness of climate change.

To end today’s festivities hundreds of people gathered to create a giant salmon with more than 1,200 tiles.
