A vacant Rogue Valley elementary school will soon have a new tenant.
The Rogue River school board voted Tuesday to transfer the deed of Evans Valley Elementary School to the Evans Valley Community Association, a nonprofit group supporting home-school students.
The building will provide a place for home-school students to meet and study together.
Under the contracts of the deed, the group will allow the community to use the space for events and festivities.
