Federal Judges Rules BLM to Make More S. Oregon Timber Sales

A new ruling from the U.S. district court will soon bring more timber sales to Southern Oregon.

On Wednesday, Federal Judge Richard Leon ruled the U.S. Bureau of Land Management to sell more timber in Southern Oregon.

Judge Leon says the BLM has not offered the amount of timber as stated in it’s 1995 Resource Management plans for the Medford and Roseburg districts since 2004.

BLM officials have not issued a comment on the ruling.
