The Oregon House approved an expansion of the foreclosure-mediation-program, and it’s expected to be signed by Governor Kitzhaber.
Senate Bill 558-A expands the program that was created last year, and applies to foreclosures pursued by lenders in court.
The bill takes effect immediately once signed, and mediation sessions in judicial foreclosure cases are expected to begin by August.
