Hundreds Expected to Gather for ALS Walk

Tomorrow hundreds of people are expected to come together to raise awareness for Lou Gehrig’s disease.

This is video from last year’s event.

It’s also known as ALS and it affects the muscles.

At this point, little is known about what causes the disease.

Over time it robs a person of their ability to walk, speak, swallow and eventually breathe.

If you’d like to participate. the event starts at noon tomorrow, registration opens at 11 at Hawthorne Park in Medford.
