30 year old Jonathan Bilden is at the center of a serious investigation.
An anonymous letter we received last month claimed Bilden had sent a student inappropriate text messages that student approached a teacher to report the incident.
“While reading the text’s the teacher decided that the texts were indeed over the line and could be considered of the sexual nature,” said the letter.
According to the letter that teacher reported the incident to the school’s vice-principal.
After a week, staff member noticed bilden was still attending practices and traveling to away games, so they followed up with the school’s principal.
Authorities were immediately contacted and the investigation has been handed to Oregon State Police.
Last month district officials told us they could not discuss personnel issues but they do confirm that Bilden is no longer employed by the district.
Bilden is also a member of the Eagle Point City Council.
City officials tell us off camera that he is still an active member of the council, but did not want to comment further since the investigation is on going.
NBC 5tried multiple times to contact Bilden but he did not respond to our requests for a statement.
