It’s a new day at the Jackson County Animal Shelter as a new director and new practices are helping to save more animals lives in our community. That effort has now been recognized by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in the form of a $10,000 grant. NBC5’s Laura Cavanaugh reports on how those funds will help bring comfort to those animals and continue to save lives.
