Jared Loughner To Be Sentenced Thursday

Jared Loughner, the man who pleaded guilty to shooting congresswoman Gabby Giffords and 18 others, will be sentenced Thursday in Tucson.

Six people were killed in the January 2011 attack and 13 others were wounded, including Giffords who suffered a gunshot to the head.

According to a plea deal, Loughner will receive a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

He is undergoing psychological treatment at a Missouri prison facility.
