The Whiskey Complex is at 10,656 acres and 40% containment. This complex is approximately 6 miles east of Tiller, Oregon.

(Level 3) evacuation put in place for the Ash Valley area and recreational sites around South Umpqua Falls
The Brimstone fire is at 2,372 acres and 100% containment. The Brimstone Fire was declared contained late Monday, Aug. 5. Roads will continue to be restricted during mop-up. This fire is 10 miles northwest of Merlin, Oregon.
The Brimstone fire is northwest of Merlin and is being managed by an ODF Type 2 Team.

The Big Windy Complex is at 14,364 acres and 10% containment. This complex is approximately 13 miles northwest of Merlin.
The Big Windy Complex is managed by an ODF Type 1 Team.

The BLM portion of the Wild Section of the Rogue River is closed from Graves Creek to Mule Creek. Rafting and boating of any kind is prohibited in this area.
Rogue River Trail from Grave Creek to the Rogue River Ranch is temporarily closed
The Labrador fire is at 2,020 acres and 0% containment. This fire is approximately 13 miles northwest of Cave Junction.
Current evacuations for the Labrador fire:
Level 2 evacuations or advisory evacuation on Oak Flat and Brushy Bar.
Level 1 evacuations from Kerby Flat to McCaleb Ranch expanded to McGwire Gulch
Current Road Closures for the Labrador fire:
Illinois River Road
Approximately 105 homes have been evacuated throughout all of the wildfires in Josephine and Douglas Counties.

Citizens can evacuate to Glendale Elementary School or Josephine County Fairgrounds:
Glendale Elementary School is located at 100 Pacific Avenue in Glendale. Closed
Josephine County Fairgrounds is located at 1451 Fairgrounds Road in Grants Pass. Closed

Officials have received reports of individuals attempting to go door to door and evacuate citizens in areas which are NOT being evacuated. In the event that you need to evacuate, a uniformed official will notify you in person. If anyone not in uniform orders you to evacuate from an area, gather as much information about the individual as possible including vehicle info and report it to your local law enforcement.
Evacuation & road closure level information:
Level 3: Current conditions present specific and immediate threats to the life and safety of persons within this area. YOU ARE ADVISED TO EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. Roads will be closed to homeowners and general public. If you leave the area, you will not be allowed to re-enter the area.
Level 2: An evacuation advisory has been issued for this area. Conditions indicate a good probability that hazards associated with the approaching fire(s) will severely limit our ability to provide emergency service protection. Dangerous conditions exist that may threaten your residence or business. YOU MUST PREPARE TO LEAVE AT A MOMENTS NOTICE. THIS MAY BE THE ONLY NOTICE THAT YOU RECEIVE. Roads are open to homeowners within the closed area. Roads are closed to the general public. If you live in the are and leave the area, you will be allowed to re-enter the area.
Level 1: A level 1 evacuation is simply a notification stating the threat to the homes is possible and if hazards increase, an evacuation will be necessary.
