Lennie Ames, Person Of Interest

Nearly two months have gone by since Stephanie Warner from Ruch disappearedand there’s now a lead.

“I’m happy there are some tips.”

Thursdaythe Jackson County Sheriff’s Office named Warner’s boyfriend 60-year-old Lennie Laverne Ames a person of interest.

“Regardless of how painful it is we’re praying for the truth.”

The truth Warner’s friend Kristin Conand says she might be closer to getting.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Thursday searched property in the woods where Ames recently camped.

Last week detectives served a search warrant on a travel trailer and several vehiclesand that’s where they found evidence.

“This gives us hope.”

Shortly after Warner’s disappearance, Ames called NBC 5 News and asked for an interview. He and his son went on camera saying they had no idea where Warner could be.

“We’re just as baffled as everyone else.”

43-year- old Warner was last seen walking in the Ashland Fourth of July Parade. That’s also the last time Kristen Conand saw her friend.

She says Warner and Ames had a fight that day.

“I have a lot of suspicions.”

Conand says she will continue to hope until she finally finds out where her friend is..and hopes that one day she’ll see her again.

Ames is not considered a suspect in Warner’s disappearance.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information to contact them immediately.
