We’re learning more about the past of a local gymnastics coach, accused of filming students while changing their clothes, without their knowledge.
Jeffrey Bettman taught gymnastics in California 12 years ago, where he was sued on alleged sexual abuse by parents.
A civil complaint was filed against him, which was taken to trial.
However, the charges were dismissed after not enough evidence was provided.
Since then, he has been teaching in the Grants Pass and Medford area.
Bettman was arrested earlier this month, and face several charges, including encouraging child sex abuse I.
