A man is behind bars for an attempted robbery and assault, after Medford police say he talked his way back into a closed bar.
Around 2:30 this morning, police say a man got into Rumors Karaoke Lounge after the bar had closed, and demanded his money back.
When the owner didn’t comply, police say the man assaulted the owner.
He then left Rumors, and took off on foot down Riverside.
A short time later, officers found the man hiding near the Millwood Inn, and arrested him.
More information is expected to be released later Wednesday.
