ACalifornia man was arrested near Madras, after police found over 50 pounds of marijuana in his car.
An Oregon State Police trooper stopped John Stone-Barger, for speeding on Highway 97, Sunday afternoon.
After an investigation, the trooper found 56 pounds of marijuana in the car as well as oxycodone tablets.
Officials estimate the combined street value of the drugs is around $42,000.
Stone-Barger is in Jefferson County Jail on charges of unlawful possession, distribution, and manufacture of a controlled substance.
His bail is set at $63,000.
