Last night, the Medford city council approved a 2 percent salary increase for the city’s police officers for this year, as well as another 2 percent in 2014.
Another 1-point-5 percent increase was approved, retroactive to July 1st of 2012.
The council is expected to re-affirm it’s vote in the next meeting, before the deal will be ratified.
