Medford woman applies for job after allegedly stealing from store

Medford, Ore. — Heres some good advice, if you decide to steal from a business, you may not want to try to land a job there the same day.

Medford Police say that was the case on Monday when a woman was seen leaving Safeway without paying for about $25 in groceries.

Employees saw her later waiting in line for a job interview and called police.

The woman, 47-year-old Jennifer Troy, was arrested for theft and also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
