Monday, June 4th marks two years since the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
The case has captured national attention, after Kyron disappeared from Skyline Elementary school in Portland, back in June of 2010.
Police say his stepmother, Terri Horman, was the last person to see him.
On Saturday, the public took part in a “Run For Kyron,” an event held up in the Portland area by Kyron’s father, Kaine Horman.
Kyron’s father filed for divorce and a restraining order against his wife, Terri, shortly after the search began for his missing son.
Meanwhile, no suspects have been officially named in the investigation.
On Friday, his mother filed a ten million dollar civil lawsuit against the boy’s step-mother.
Desiree Young, the biological mother of Kyron is accusing Terri Horman of custodial interference.
Under Oregon law, custodial interference involves keeping a person from their legal custodian “permanently or for a pro-tracted period.”
Desiree, who is a Medford resident, also said the money would go toward helping other parents of missing children.
