Local businesses are cashing in this Mother’s Day weekend.
Cakery Kisses in White City has been swarmed with orders for petite gourmet cakes.
Owner Sjanna Sharbatz says the small treats are the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
She even created a special small cake just for the moms!
“…and this is our ‘P.B. and Grape Jazz’. So we’re honoring mother for all the peanut butter and jam sandwiches that she’s made for us over all these years, and this is absolutely delicious.”
If you are in need of a last minute gift for mom, many local businesses will be open, however Cakery Kisses will be closed Sunday. The petite cakes are also available at Pita Pit and Harry and David.
