Amaintenance shop to service the 5 car rental companies at the Medford airport has been proposed. The center would be just over9000 square feet, and would include a car wash.
The shop would service rentals from Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and other national agencies.
Airport officials say rental-car operations are one of the top 3 airport revenue generators. The Medford Site Plan and Architectural Commission will hear the proposal on Friday at noon.
