Night flying operations will begin tonight for F-15 student pilots at Kingsley Field.
The 173rd fighter wing will be training between 9 and 11:30 pm, with most of the training happeningin the military operating airspace east of Lakeview.
The training teaches future U.S. Air Force pilots how to fly in total darkness using night vision technology.
The operation will continue through Friday.
