Park officials in Ashland are issuing a warning, following numerous bear sightings in Lithia park.
They say a young black bear has been spotted at least three times in the last week.
If you encounter a bear, officials say you should avoid eye contact, and stay calm. Leave the area as soon as you can, and most importantly, do not run.
Park officials also ask you to notify the department of any sightings.
