Oregon Faces $700 Million Budget Gap

Budget cuts are in Oregon’s future as the state has projected a nearlya $700,000,000 gap.

The loss comes from the general fund and the lottery and will impact some government services.

However, the state has seen worse facing a 3.5 billion dollar gap in 2011.

However, the state’s manufacturing and housing sectors are looking promising and economists expect recovery to begin at the beginning of 2013.
