Oregon Health Plan Hits Dental Snag; Hearing on Wednesday

Aconflict between prior dental plans and the new Coordinated Care Organizations could affect over 600,000 members on the Oregon Health Plan.

The new Coordinated Care Organizations, put into place by legislators earlier this year are clashing with existing dental plans and officials with those plans say they were promised exclusive rights toO.H.P. members until 2017.

The issue will be discussed at a public hearing Wednesday, it is expected to be further discussed in next year’s legislative debate.
