Oregon Senate Votes To Outlaw Smoking With Kids In Your Car

The Oregon Senate has voted to make it illegal for adults to smoke in a car with children.

Violators would face a maximum fine of $250 for a first offense and$500 for any offenses after. The senate’s 19-10 vote yesterday sends the measure to the house.

The violation would be a secondary offense, so drivers could only be ticketed if they were pulled over for another reason
