Pacific Power Prepares For High Wind Warnings

A high wind warning Thursday has Pacific Power preparing for possible outages.

Wednesday morning, high winds caused a television cable line to entangle with power lines. That cut power to sixteen hundred customers near Eagle Point, Butte Falls and Shady Cove for about fifteen minutes.

Pacific Power encourages customers to be prepared in case of an outage with back up lights, bottled water, blankets, and a first aid kit.
