Police say an alert woman is responsible for stopping a burglary at her neighbor’s Dakota avenue home over the weekend.
Around 5:30 Saturday morning, the woman said her dog started barking.
That’s when she saw a burglar in her neighbor’s home and called 911.
Police arrested 45-year-old Paul May on theft and burglary charges.
No one was home at the time of the attempted burglary. Police say May got in through an unlocked door.
