An early morning chase in what police believe to be a stolen car quickly ends in a crash off I-5.
Just before 3 Friday morning, Oregon State Police tell us they attempted stop a car for a traffic violation, but the car didn’t stop. Authorities say the car left the interstate at milepost 43, attempting to elude the officer. A short way down Profetta lane, the car crashed.
Police tell us three suspects were taken into custody: two 19 year olds and a 16 year old. Their names are not being released at this time.
Police also say the car might have been stolen out of the Grants Pass area.
