Aloha, Ore. — A bizarre story from Northern Oregon; a woman is hurt after investigators say a port-a-potty she was in exploded.
It happened in Aloha, just west of Portland, near the International School of Beaverton. The blast prompted an evacuation and lockdown at the school. A nearby apartment complex was also placed on temporary lockdown as police investigated the blast.
“We don’t know what there intention was, whatever it was it was reckless and in this case it caused injury to the victim and now we are looking for a suspect for assault,” said Sgt. Vance Stimler from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, described as being in her forties, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are now asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect.
