Portland Timbers Visit Medford for ‘Dribble Oregon’ Tour

Soccer fans in the Rogue Valley got a visit from some of the members of the Portland Timbers today.

Defender David Horst and goalkeeper Jake Gleeson were at the Santos Community Center as part of the second annual Dribble Oregon tour, improving soccer skills and giving back to the community.

“Playing with the kids is my definitely favorite part. Messing around with them, playing some scrimmages, show them a couple of different tricks, and you always get a few characters that are quite funny, so it’s fun to come out here and mess with them!”

The team will be hosting a free meet and greet at Four Daughters Irish Pub in downtown Medford from 7 to 9 tonight
