White City, Ore.– Dozens gathered at the Champion Raceway with their revved up engines.
They were there to support a Medford mother, Desiree Young who five years later is still looking for her son, 12-year-old Kyron Horman.
Friday night’s fundraiser was called “Race 4 Kyron.” 20 percent of sales that night went to the Kyron Horman search fund.
Horman’s mother has been working tirelessly to fund private searches for her boy.
Young said searches usually cost $6,000-$12,000 and they have one planned in September in Portland.
Young said she is grateful for the constant support of the community.
