Reward for Missing Convict

Jackson County Sheriff’s are asking for the community’s help tonight. A $5,000 reward is now on the head of a convicted bank robber who escaped from the Jackson County Jail this past week. Police say, on Monday, 42-year-old Bradley William Monical escaped by standing on another inmate’s shoulders in the recreation hall, pulling away the mesh roof, jumping onto a nearby tree and climbing down. Monical is accused of robbing an Ashland Premier West Bank in 2010. He also has a 22 year sentence for robbery in Coos Bay. Officials say Monical is a danger to the community and residents should call 911 immediately if they see him.
