Fire officials in Shady Cove are launching a new campaign to help reduce the risk of wildfires.
The city is trying to become a Firewise Community, a nationwide program designed to help residents who live in areas at risk of brush, grass or forest fires.
The first meeting is Wednesday at the Edgewater Inn beginning at 6pm.
