A Curry County Jail inmate escapes from custody, only to be put back behind bars.
Joshua Haussler now faces charges of escape in first degree, after officials say he spent five minutes on the run.
Haussler was taken to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Police say he escaped just after he was released from medical officials to return to the jail.
Sheriff’s deputies found the man about five minutes later, hiding in a creek bed.
He is back in the Curry County Jail.
