Police are investigating a single vehicle crash near Cave Junction that left one person dead and two other injured.
On Monday morning, a car driven by 45-year-old Austin Lawrence traveled off highway 199 and struck a tree near milepost 28.
One passenger, Clyde Greene, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another passenger, Brandon Gunder, was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this point, it’s unclear what caused the accident.
