Space shuttle Discovery will soon be at the Smithsonian Institution.
The Discoveryleft the Kennedy Space Center this morning for its final homein Washington D.C.at the Smithsonian.
Discovery was hoisted onto the back of a modified boeing 747 overthe weekend.
Discovery can be seen by the public starting Thursday.
