Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber is expected to turn up the heat in Salem, pushing for a vote on his health and education reform today.
One of the Oregon Governor’s health bills may be set for a final vote today in the House, after being passed up yesterday.
Under the Governor’splan, the organizations will bring together hospitals, clinics and other providers to better coordinate the care of the 600,000 people on the on the Oregon Health Plan.
Governor Kitzhaber spoke of his concerns– saying the bills have been forgotten in partisan politics, and may not get to the floor in this Legislative session.
