St. Helens Teen Threatens to Kill 4; Following North Medford Incident

On the heels of a student bringing a gun on campus at North Medford high school earlier this week: we have learned that a freshman student at St. Helens high school was arrested late Thursday after she allegedly threatened to bring a gun to the school and kill four people.

Officials from the northern Oregon School first discovered the threats written in two different girls’ restrooms on March 1st and alerted police.

Investigators said they questioned more than 20 students in connection with the threats before a 15-year-old girl confessed. She is now behind bars facing many different charges.

As for the Medford student who brought a gun onto campus– he is still inside juvenile hall… as that investigation does continue.
