Sunday, March 31st, is the deadline to remove your studded tires.
Given current weather forecasts, ODOT will not be extending the removal deadline. Drivers are encouraged to not to wait to the last minute, especially if they are not planning on travelling in the snow this week.
It is estimated that studded tires cause at least 40-million dollars in damage to Oregon roadways every year.
