Two people are facing serious charges after police say they not only possessed meth, herion, and pot but that those drugs were also within the reach of a 5 year-old child.
Officials say Abdum Hackim and Ashley Auger were arrested after police found the drugs in a hotel room.
Auger is now out of jail but faces charges including child neglect and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.
Meanwhile, Hackim remains in the Jackson County Jail.
As for the child, she’s in foster care.
