Starting Tuesday, many local physicians are teaming up with the largest health insurance company in the country all to offer you lower out-of pocket-expenses.
Primecare, the independent physicians association for Jackson County has signed a contract with United Healthcare.
500 physicians are now “in-network” providers for United.
The goal behind the contract is to lower co-payments for patients.
Around5,000 Jackson County residents will experience the change starting Tuesday, May 1.
