Wildfire Week Is Underway

This year, Oregon, California, Washington, Nevada andUtahhave signed onto a joint proclamation declaring this week “Wildfire Awareness Week.”

Fire officials statewide are offering these tips to help homeowners protect thier property:

Space out plants and shrubs when adding landscaping this spring…

Trim and prune existing trees and shrubs regularly…

Also, officials advise mowing the lawn short and keeping it well watered.
