Zumba Warming up the Community

Two men who recently froze to death inspired a Medford woman to bring the community together and bring warmth to the Rogue Valley.

Today, more than fifty people packed into the Hoover Elementary School gym for a campaign titled “Fill a Truck for Warmth.”

Everyone was asked to donate a new or gently-used blanket in exchange to participate in a Zumba class.

“Everybody just needs to give to their community, it’s all about our people and we all need to be there for each other and people need to step up.”

All ages participated in the event today.

All the blankets collected went directly to the Medford Gospel Mission.
