When to watch skateboarding during the 2024 Paris Olympics

In Paris, skateboarding will drop in for another appearance at an Olympic Games. The world’s best riders will compete in two disciplines: street and park. Street skaters open things up on the ramps and rails on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, while park riders get their chance to thrill the crowd in midweek sessions on Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7.

Venue

Skateboarders share the stage at the Place de La Concorde with other urban sport events at Paris 2024 including BMX freestyle, basketball 3×3 and the first-ever Olympic appearance of breaking. La Concorde links the Champs-Élysées to the Tuileries Gardens, where the competition will juxtapose Parisian heritage with progressive athleticism.

Olympic skateboarding athletes to watch on Team USA

Jagger Eaton (men’s street): Won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and won the 2021 Jacksonville World Championships.
Nyjah Huston (men’s street): Holds 11 World Championships medals and 23 X Games medals dating back to 2010.
Tate Carew (men’s park): Currently ranked first in men’s skateboard park according to World Skate, the international governing body for skateboarding and roller sports. Carew won the Olympic Qualifier Series event in Shanghai, China in May and is the winner of the 2024 World Skate Park Tour Dubai.
Gavin Bottger (men’s park): Won the 2023 World Skateboard Park Championships in Rome, Italy and placed third at X Games Japan 2023.
Tom Schaar (men’s park): Finished second in the final Olympic Qualifier Series event in Budapest, Hungary in June. Schaar also placed fourth at X Games Ventura 2024 and was the third-place finisher at X Games California 2023.
