(WNWO) Police in Toledo, Ohio are asking the public to help them identify a man they say assaulted a gas station clerk while trying to steal cash.
Security video shows the man entering the Sunoco station, then reaching over the counter and trying to grab cash from the clerk’s hands.
Police say the clerk retreated, but the suspect jumped over the counter and began assaulting her. Two other store employees then attempted to pull the suspect off the clerk. In the process, one employee was bitten on the hand by the suspect. He fled with cash after being beaten by a fire extinguisher by an employee.
