A Day of Caring

More than 350 volunteers took time to help several non-profits today. It was all part of the United Way’s ‘Day of Caring.’

Dozens of volunteers worked on projects around Easter Seals in Medford.

Volunteers say it’s a good way to give back to those who do so much for the community.

“I think it’s a fantastic day for volunteers to get out and really give back to their community. It makes a difference, the impact you see on the folks you are helping out when you leave at the end of the day, the surprise on their face and the appreciation is just so heartfelt.”

Volunteers were scattered at 17 different locations around the county.
