Anair stagnation advisory has been issued in Jackson County. Prompting a “red” day for wood stove burning.
The National Weather Serviceissued the advisory, set to begin a 7 am on the morning of the 27th. Burning *is* allowed on certified stoves, as long as no smoke is visible but burning on non-certified stoves is prohibited.
The National Weather Services says these restrictions will likely continue throughout the week.
