Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has been named the top, large-sized hospital when it comes to tracking and voluntarily reporting errors.
On Friday the Oregon Patient Safety Commission recognized the hospital for their reporting.
The data collected is used to help identify trends and improve health care. It doesn’t necessarily mean more incidents occur there, just that the reports are more thorough and help to make sure the same errors don’t happen again.
Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis was also recognized in the medium sized hospital category.
Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles was recognized in the small sized hospital category.
Center for Specialty Surgery in Portland was selected for the ambulatory surgery center category.
Hirons 18th in Eugene was recognized in the pharmacy category.
Mac Prescription Shop in McMinnville was also recognized in the pharmacy category.
